For Spring 2014 runway I was immediately drawn to modern and minimal grey tones. I love the juxtaposition of cool grey incorporated into soft knits at Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren and paired with gold at Celine, Sass & Bid, Balenciaga, and Jenny Packham. Grey paired with gold is a big trend in home design in 2014. I love this in women's wear and jewelry too; It's an unexpected partnership! Think regal glam meets modern sleekness. My Fragments Collectionplays on this idea of modern meets royal femininity. Linear bar details take a softer edge when gold and rose gold are paired with pink chalcedony, grey agate, Swarovski crystals, gold and blue flash labradorite.
